Red Smed

and the
Hot Trot Smash the System
Boogie Band

The HOT TROT SMASH THE SYSTEM BOOGIE BAND is an anarcho-syndicalist collective of left wing extremists founded in 1917. After fighting Fascism in World War two, they went on to install Soviet style regimes across
Eastern Europe and became the main focus of support for National Liberation movements in the Third world from the 1950,s until the collapse of Communism in 1989 , when they re-formed as a prog-rock glam outfit. Unfortunately the Capitalist asset stripping of the 1990s left them with only a banjo, and 370 back issues of the socialist worker- and gigs dried up . With the election of New Tony in 1997 the central committee of the 5th International instructed the band members to regroup their revolutionary cadre unit-hidden deep within the Capitalist system and undermine the New Globalisation.

The band were hidden so deep within the system (lecturers, Computer salesmen, District Councillors, veterinary nurses, school children) that it took 3 years to even find each other. Now living in a sexually licentious
pot smoking punk commune in Bridgwater, Somerset they have finally had a rehearsal hence the following motion.
