One song from our current set that really feels alive on stage right now is “Childish Brains“. It’s also the track we love most from our debut EP, Love & Rage.
The song is about trying to find yourself, maybe by running away for a while, opening yourself up to new ideas and steering away from old, tyrannical rulesets. It’s a kind of post-teenage retrospective on the storm and stress of leaving childhood behind.
It creates a really special energy live because everyone joins in to sing along. As the final track in our performance, when the audience continues to sing the “woah” part after the song has finished, we can usually tell that they’re not ready for it to be over.
