Artist Quotes
What our artists say about us
Midnight Mango are fantastic to work with. Their commitment to being inclusive and intersectional in their practices and their support for their artists is invaluable.
I’ve been with MM around 20 odd years now so I feel that says a lot.
I really appreciate the level of support. With Sarah, I have a friend in my corner! And when I had questions, being offered a chat with the CEO made me feel both valued and inspired.
Terrifyingly efficient. They’ve got spreadsheets for things I didn’t know could be spreadsheeted. Luckily, they’re also brilliant at what they do, so I try not to get in the way too much. It’s like having adult supervision for your solo career.
I’ve always believed that when you are a curious and open-minded person, the right people come into your life. And that’s how Midnight Mango and my agent Rich came into my life, as they are not just my agency, but part of my family.
We have been working with mango since 2011 and we’re one of their early signings . They have been more than just agents as Matt and Ian made it their personal mission to help us get our act together with marketing / branding ect so we would have the confidence to play further afield in the UK and beyond with expertly guided professionalism . We felt we were punching away above our weight with some of the gigs and tours they were organising but they helped us realise our potential . Midnight Mango is more like a family than a business with their very hands-on approach to bands and through that we have become good friends and have shared many good nights together at festivals and events.
We love the ethos of the agency, and our agent Joe has been pro-active, communicative and embracing of all of our weird and wonderful ideas (e.g. bringing the full electric show to Churches across the UK on our “Churches” tour last year.) We’re excited to continue to grow together and have some very exciting plans in the works for the next 18 months… 👀 Watch out world and thank you Joe!
I find it very useful to have a booking agent as it gives me more time to be an artist and is very useful when organising tours etc.
We’re very happy with the MM team, Rich Potter is our guy and he’s like a terrier, always on the ball chasing. Big shout out to Ian Luxon as well who’s always available when we need help with the admin side of things.
Love MM and our agent Andy! Just so pro, no ego, chill and get the job done. We are a very hands on band and we run this business so to have an agent we can talk on a level with is important to us. Love the relationship we have with him and Midnight Mango. Also refreshing to deal with a professional and organized company. It’s takes a huge load off from all the work we already have to do.
10/10 – would highly recommend. Awesome team, great vibe, great gigs. What’s not to love?
It’s great! They are supportive, efficient & prompt. Plus they seem to like us for some reason.
It’s great to have a pro agent team on board who can deal with the smallest house concert up to the biggest festivals!
I absolutely love Midnight Mango, they are a big part of my renaissance. Sarah is indispensable to us.
I have never had a decent UK Agent right up to my time with MM. that’s a lot of years. Rich Potter is my agent there. (in fact I knew Rich before he was at MM). To be honest , I found over the years , that in my experience, UK agents are the most loathsome of all the various professions in the music business. And that’s saying something!! ‘Bullshiting big time Charlie’s’ was my general view of them, plus they were prone to being very erratic . So sometimes they simply came across as lazy. They wanted to shoot fish in a barrel for the most part. Not graft hard to establish an act . Going back many years I had a Dutch agent Willem Venema. So though the eighties into the nineties I worked a lot more in Europe than the UK. In fact I had a Dutch crew too. I had good relationships with UK promoters , so worked directly with them. The most stand out of them was probably Adrian Gibson . So for these last few years, I am happily represented by a young (relatively young anyway!) agent , who work for Midnight Mango, a well run, large , but not impersonal agency . I talk to Matt the boss from time to time (discussing stuff outside of my live work ), and Ian who overseas the financials. Both are always courteous and helpful . Lora handles my ticket sales updates.
We’re brand spanking new to the world of Midnight Mango and it has been fantastic so far! Our booking agent, Willie is such a friendly and approachable guy that we feel so at ease sending old contacts his way as well as trusting him completely with his contacts that are completely new to us that we look forward to visiting on our future tours (that are shaping up wonderfully)!
Midnight Mango is so communicative, honest, and works really hard. I’m really proud to be a part of the team.
It opened a door to play shows in the UK! This is really important to us and we’re so happy to have already played sold out shows there!
It’s been cool working with Pip until the start of this year as we now have pleasure of working with Sarah 🎶
It’s great. I work with Callum and have been for the best part of a year now.
Being under the whole Midnight Mango umbrella and being able to reach out for advice or contacts is also really beneficial!

Midnight Mango have been incredibly patient with us because as mentioned before we have been blighted by visa issues but we totally intend to repay Midnight Mango’s faith and start touring as soon as possible.

Midnight Mango are a one stop shop for all things Ríoghnach Connolly, no one but Ethan and his team could wrangle this many calendars!
Working with Midnight Mango on behalf of The Seeger Sessions Revival has been nothing but a positive experience. Rich and the team have been fantastic to work with throughout; always approachable, supportive and genuinely invested in helping the band move forward. Their expertise, guidance and advice have been invaluable and it’s clear they care deeply about the artists they represent.
A big shout out to to Midnight Mango, who have been an integral part of our team for the last 14 years. Watching them grow from a small bespoke agency into an award winning international company has been incredible, and we are proud to have shared that journey. We haven’t hesitated over the years to recommend them as an agency to fellow artists and seen many relationships blossom as a result. Here’s to many more years of success together!
Midnight Mango – and our superhuman agent Joe – have taken us to places we only dreamed of, it’s a pleasure and a privilege being on the roster alongside some of our heroes
Ethan at midnight mango has been an absolute legend in acting as agent for the band. He has actively created many opportunities and has been integral in the growth of profile of the band!
After so many years as Oysterband, working with the same team, it could have been difficult to find a new working relationship to launch the new trio live. What helps is that when your agent for 30 years recommends an agency, it means something, and when you hear other artists are moving there, you think I’ve got to give this a try.
A successful supportive agency is essential when launching something new so our big thanks to MM and especially Rich Quarterman for everything this year.
It was fantastic to work with Sam on the latest EU & UK Spring tour. He understood the long-term vision with care. It was invaluable to strategise together as a team, and to be able to talk honestly and transparently with each other. I’m looking forward to what the future holds.
Rich Quarterman is my favourite agent to date, his ability to listen and work with the specific personal aims I have for my career is rare and invaluable. The Midnight Mango ethos enables him to truly work with me and it feels like they’re in my corner in both the highs and lows of touring which is hugely beneficial to artists at this level.
