Favourites on the UK festival circuit, Cable Street Collective have been consistently championed by tastemakers like John Kennedy (Radio X) and Tom Robinson (BBC 6Music) ever since the release of their debut EP in 2014. Tom Robinson chose two singles from the band’s first full-length album, Battle Lines, for his end of year ‘Best of 2022’ mixtape.

The London-based band have a stellar live reputation – UK highlights include Latitude, Glastonbury (multiple stages), Boomtown, Shambala, Bestival, Wildnerness, Beautiful Days, Electric Picnic, Boardmasters, Secret Garden Party and the Isle of Wight Festival.

Mixing African-influenced guitars and beats with soulful female vocals, socially conscious lyrics and western melodies, the band create an idiosyncratic alt-pop sound that’s all their own.

Upbeat and vibrant, brassy and bubbly, their sunshine energy and magnetic vocals are guaranteed to get everyone to their feet.

All We Got Left is one of several singles dropping during 2025, building up to the release of the band’s second full-length album in Spring 2026.

Cable Street Collective take their name from the 1936 Battle of Cable Street, when East Londoners united to stop Oswald Mosley’s fascist Blackshirts from marching—an enduring symbol of resistance that resonates through their music.

Their music grooves like a bastard.

Music that makes you want to dance your ‘beep’ off.
