Camden Stewart

Camden Stewart is a British composer, pianist and operatic tenor of Ghanaian and Jamaican heritage, creating original contemporary classical music through piano and voice.

Born in London, he began his musical life as a chorister with Libera, touring across Europe, the United States and Asia. He later studied at Junior Guildhall and received scholarship offers from the Royal Academy of Music, Royal College of Music and Guildhall School of Music & Drama.

Originally trained as a tenor, Stewart increasingly turned towards composition. His work places piano and voice at the centre of a distinctive musical language shaped by transformation, perseverance and stillness. He came to wider international attention through performances at London’s public pianos, particularly St Pancras International, where recordings of his original compositions reached millions worldwide.

Stewart writes, produces and performs his own catalogue, including the EP Lost (2023) and album Transcendence (2025). His appearances include the Royal Albert Hall, Classic FM, Southbank Centre, National Gallery, United Nations, Yamaha Music London, Spitfire Audio, Burlington Arcade and Leighton House.

He is a Young Ambassador for the Lang Lang International Music Foundation. His work has received recognition from Lang Lang, and he has performed for Academy Award-nominated composer Simon Franglen and actor Jeff Goldblum.
