La Forastería

La Forastería is a powerful Argentine live act blending ancestral Latin American and Afro-rooted sounds with organic electronic, psychedelic and folktronica influences. Led by Toni Volpen and Matías “Tuto” Petruzzi, their immersive performances turn the dancefloor into a space of energy, connection and transformation.

Born in the mountains of Córdoba, Argentina, La Forastería combines live vocals, guitars, charango, synthesizers and percussion with electronic textures, moving between folktronica, organic electronic, psychedelic, funk, reggae, dub, rock and world music. Their distinctive sound creates mystical, deeply rhythmic atmospheres that invite both movement and introspection.

Since releasing their debut EP Ofrenda in 2022, the group has released music through labels including Earthly Measures and Octo Records, culminating in their 2025 LP Épicas Sagradas, also released as a limited vinyl edition.

Between 2023 and 2025, La Forastería performed more than 130 shows across Europe and the Americas, including OZORA Festival, Namaste Ibiza, 3000Grad, Ancient Trance and Waldstock, establishing a strong presence on the international festival circuit.

Beyond their live performances, the group are the creators of Festival Molecular, a self-sustaining gathering in the mountains of Córdoba built around music, nature, community and sacred architecture.

With new music on the horizon, La Forastería continue to expand their international presence, bringing their distinctive fusion of ancestral roots and contemporary electronic sound to stages, festivals and dancefloors around the world.
