Matt Jah is a songwriter, producer and DJ crafting hypnotic electronic journeys where ancestral rhythms, organic grooves and psychedelic textures converge. Blending live guitar, vocals and synths with World, Tribal, Dub and Downtempo influences, he creates immersive experiences that move body, mind and spirit.

Also known as Matteo La Motta, Matt Jah draws inspiration from travel and the diverse cultures of the world, exploring the space between ancient musical traditions and modern electronic sound. His performances and productions are built around organic textures, hypnotic rhythms and emotional depth, creating spaces for connection, movement and inner exploration.

Between 2021 and 2025, Matt Jah released music on respected labels including Cosmic Awakenings, Iono Music, Baikal Nomads, Earthly Measures, Cosmovision Records and Tropical Twista. His music has received support from leading artists across the Organic House and Downtempo scene, including Acid Pauli, Mose, Lemurian, Deer Jade and Yemanjo.
