Described as “one of Britain’s most exciting new noises” by Kerrang! and “The new kings of British rock music” by Distorted Sound, everyone seems to agree it’s a hard sound to put a finger on, but it’s impossible to look away. The band perform almost like an early 2000s hardcore band in terms of raw feral energy, but play a bouncy and infectiously fun style of fuzzy riff rock, with elements of Stoner Punk, Desert Rock and even Metalcore present in the band’s melting pot of sound.
Recent years have seen the band make festival appearances at ArcTanGent, Bloodstock, Bearstone (Croatia), Leopallooza, Steelhouse and Burn it Down among others, as well as supports for the likes of Airbourne, Skindred, Reef, Feeder, Battlesnake, ‘68, Steel Beans, Jamie Lenman and Bokassa.
Mother Vulture have just finished a very successful European tour with Belgian fuzz-rockers Ramkot and a UK run supporting Norwegian Thrash outfit Bokassa, followed by a full UK headline tour in Feb/Mar 2026 to support the release of their sophomore album “Cartoon Violence”, released on the 15th January 2026. Multiple shows have sold out on the tour including their album launch at Exeter Phoenix, marking their biggest headline show to date. The only way is up for Mother Vulture.
