Nadav Tabak

Nadav Tabak is a live looping guitarist who transforms a single acoustic guitar into a full-spectrum rhythmic and melodic experience. Using real-time looping, percussive techniques and layered instrumentation, he builds beats, basslines and soaring melodies live on stage — creating high-energy, immersive performances that blur the line between concert and dancefloor ritual.

After a decade touring internationally as one half of the acclaimed guitar duo Opal Ocean, Nadav has stepped into his own solo chapter. His sound blends acoustic psy-trance, tribal grooves, Spanish rumba techniques and cinematic textures, moving fluidly between uplifting dance moments and atmospheric introspection. Each performance is improvised and shaped by the energy of the crowd, making every set unique.

Growing up in Auckland, New Zealand, Nadav developed an experimental mindset that now defines his solo project. Armed with a looping pedal and a deep rhythmic sensibility, he constructs intricate compositions in real time, drawing from global influences and organic percussion. His self-titled debut EP, released in 2023, showcases this fusion of technical precision and emotional depth.

Nadav toured extensively across Europe, performing at festivals and sharing stages with world-class artists. Highlights include opening for Manu Chao at Chez Narcisse (Val-d’Ajol), Hilight Tribe at l’Autre Canal Nancy, Delgres and Rootsriders at the Olympia in Paris, as well as performing at Earth Garden Festival in Malta and reaching the top four artists at the Chien à Plumes Tremplin.
