Tooth Gore is the electrifying solo project of Kobi Joe, a beach slacker hailing from the seaside town of Newquay, Cornwall, making surf-infused, crooner-punk music that combines the warm jangle of surf rock, the vocal delivery of 50s doo-wop, and the fuzzed-up riffs of 90’s pop punk.

His sophomore album, ‘For Losers, By Losers’ was released in June 2025. The record has since amassed over 600,000 streams, resonating with fans drawn to its themes of anxiety, alienation, and youth in freefall. The album’s singles, have had radio success, racking up over 14,000 plays across the UK and beyond.  Influenced by the likes of FIDLAR, PUP, The Frights, and Jeff Rosenstock, his music is a love letter to the misfits, the anxious, and the emotionally overwhelmed. With critical acclaim from Vive Le Rock, Powerplay Magazine, and Hard Rock Hell, and a growing presence on the UK gig circuit, Tooth Gore is fast becoming one of the most compelling voices in the UK’s underground punk scene.

In early 2026 Tooth Gore toured Japan and the Philippines and will be returning to the Philippines again in January 2027 alongside Vietnam and Thailand on his South-East Asia tour.

Tooth Gore is currently working with Zac Carper of FIDLAR on new music. Zac flew over to the UK from Hawaii to work on the project, and these songs are set to release later in the year and into 2027.

Think FIDLARS’s fuzz, the frantic pulse of PUP, and a dose of Jeff Rossenstock chaos—all tempered by a croon dipped in reverb and self-reflection. Lyrically, Kobi confronts the euphoria and unease of young adulthood, creating something both volatile and oddly comforting. 9/10
