Track Dogs

A true live act, Track Dogs bring the sunshine and the party with their foot-tapping, heart-springing brilliance. These 4 charismatic acoustic troubadours deliver a rousing good time with their mix of Americana, Latino, Country, folk, funk, Blues and Bluegrass. Overflowing with musical talent and with humour never far away, theirs is an irresistible flavour of brass-fuelled, sing-along, dance-along music.

The band comprises two Irishmen, an Englishman and an American (Garret Wall, Dave Mooney, Howard Brown & Robbie K. Jones). Their success is certainly no joke! Whether on a festival main stage or in a basement club singing around one mic, Track Dogs delight in entertaining audiences with their infectious original songs and covers that get everyone singing.

Their wonderful 4-part harmonies have drawn comparisons to groups such as Crosby, Stills & Nash, America, Calexico and Manu Chao. Garret’s warm, distinctive lead vocals and upbeat yet lyrically deep songwriting are central to the sound. Band members sometimes take their turn to lead on particular songs, to great effect. The band plays an ever-developing array of instruments including acoustic guitar, electric base, trumpet, cajon, banjo, ukulele, mandolin, flugelhorn and piano.

The four friends have called Madrid home for many years. Having started out as buskers Track Dogs have firmly established themselves as a highly regarded live act, performing throughout Spain, the UK and internationally. They consistently turn first-time audience members into lifelong fans.

The band have played Glastonbury, Gate To Southwell, Moonbeams, Northern Kin, Wickham Festival, Costa Festivals in Amsterdam, Portugal, Ibiza and beyond. Key appearances in Spain have included Cultura Quente, Americana Music Festival Madrid, renowned venues such as La Riviera Madrid and Razzmatazz Barcelona.

Throughout their career, Track Dogs have regularly collaborated, including with Ashley Campbell, Iain Matthews, Steve Knightley and Show of Hands with whom they formed the supergroup Dog Show Sessions and played the Royal Albert Hall.

Track Dogs have released 11 albums to date. Still At The Music (out November 2026) sees the band celebrating 20 years of performing and recording together. Their widely acclaimed double album, Tracks Laid, Tracks Covered (2025) was half retrospective of their most popular live songs and the other half new material.

The band’s artistic name references the teams that work in the dark subterranean world of the New York subway system.
