Track Dogs are an international roots quartet, and one of the most eclectic and vibrant bands on the European scene. These amiable acoustic troubadours deliver a rousing good time with their adventurous fusion of Folk, Latino and Americana, and stunning 4-part harmonies.

Overflowing with musical brilliance, generosity of spirit, and with humour never far away, Track Dogs revel in audience connectivity; one of the many reasons for their devoted following. Theirs is an irresistible flavour of brass-fuelled, sing-along, dance-along music. In their relatable lyrics, there’s plenty of depth, pathos and sentiment to be found too.

Drawing comparisons to groups such as Crosby, Stills & Nash, America, Calexico and Manu Chao, the band play an ever-developing array of instruments including acoustic guitar, electric base, trumpet, cajon, banjo, ukulele, mandolin, flugelhorn and piano.

All four band members have lived in Madrid for many years though are originally from Ireland (Garrett Wall, Dave Mooney), the UK (Howard Brown) and the US (Robbie K Jones). Having begun as buskers, the band has spent two decades gaining a wide following and turning first-time listeners into lifelong fans.

Although the band comprises two Irishmen, an Englishman and an American, their success is certainly no joke! They celebrate 20 years together in 2026; have released 11 albums and toured widely in Europe throughout their career, often collaborating with others, such as Iain Matthews, and Show of Hands with whom they formed the supergroup Dog Show Sessions and played the Royal Albert Hall. Track Dogs have played on stages large and small across Europe; including Cultura Quente, Americana Music Festival Madrid, renowned venues such as La Riviera Madrid and Razzmatazz Barcelona, plus Costa Festivals in Amsterdam, Portugal, Ibiza and beyond. Their UK festival appearances have included Glastonbury, Gate To Southwell, Moonbeams, Northern Kin and Wickham Festival.

Their widely acclaimed 2025 double album, Tracks Laid, Tracks Covered, is half retrospective of their most popular live songs and half new material to celebrate their 20th anniversary year.

With their longest UK Tour to date in 2026, further development is planned within the UK, Europe and beyond, taking the band to new territories and audiences.

The band name references the teams that work in the dark subterranean world of the New York subway system, and hints at the dark themes sometimes to be found beneath the upbeat sunshine rhythms.

Track Dogs effortlessly spread their infectious sunny vibe.
