💥 SUMMER PLAY – BOLLYWOOD BRASS BAND – CAREER DEFINING MOMENTS!
As part of our Summer Play Series we asked Bollywood Brass Band to tell us about a career defining moment!
“In 2002 we played at the Rudolstadt Festival in Germany. We’d been doing some bigger stage gigs, some abroad, but this one really stands out in our collective memories. We think it was the first time we used clip-on mikes and were able to move around the stage more freely – i.e. dancing! It was a BIG stage!
We followed that with an off-stage performance in the street – the audience for this was huge – close up and dancing and cheering like mad things. We felt famous! We sold loads of CDs and got some great stage photos for the first time (attached). After that we were on the up and played loads of European festivals 🙂
We’re still going strong! We’re currently looking forward to playing our ‘100 Years of Bollywood’ show at the Rainham Mela https://rainhamchurch.co.uk/arts/rainham-melah/”
