“Supporting Fairport Convention on their winter tour in 2011 (admittedly 32 shows rather than just one!) was the biggest turning point for us – having the chance to play for a few hundred people every night who hadn’t heard of us was a great opportunity and we got loads of people on our mailing list. We still have people at shows to this day who come up and tell us they first saw us on that tour.”
