The Interview

Tell us about one/some of the most career defining shows you’ve played so far.
We played the “your roots are showing”showcase in Killarney in January this year, this is where we met Matt from Midnight Mango and started an exciting new journey in our career.
How did you come into this career?
Music has been a part of our lives for as long as we can remember, and we have been playing separately for years. It made sense to eventually start playing together. The Wran was never career driven we have been following the path that has been opening up for us.
Any pre-show rituals?
A moment of peace before we go on stage and a pint of Guinny.

What was the first show you remember going to?
Jedward! Two of the lads were supporting them so we all went.
What was the first show you remember playing?
The first gig we ever played which was in Murray’s in An Rinn on Wren Day 2023. We had just formed the band for the craic and kept it going from there on.
One thing you wish you knew before your first gig?
The only time you break a string is when you don’t have any spare.
Tell us about someone in your team you couldn’t do without.
Our parents.. for many reasons.
How do you find working with Midnight Mango?
It’s been absolutely great! They see us and fully support the project.
Tell us about something you’d like to promote.
We would like to promote our upcoming summer tour!
