When the needle hits the vinyl, you’d never guess that D/troit is a group of five white guys from Copenhagen. Since 2013, Toke, Klaus, Stefan, Mads and Jackie have been refining their breath-taking, gritty retro-soul and gradually cementing themselves as Denmark’s undisputed kings of soul.
Since the release of their debut single on the legendary Danish label Crunchy Frog in 2015, the quintet has been praised in Denmark and abroad for the groovy retro sound that has been the band’s trademark from the start.
