“When everything is a machine, the human will come back.” – TribalNeed
A boundary-pushing live electronic act with an established global following, TribalNeed creates every sound on stage in real time, fusing ancient tribal instruments, hypnotic grooves and cinematic techno into a powerful, fully improvised live experience.
The solo project of Riccardo Moretti, Italian musician, producer and live-looping artist, TribalNeed builds mystic soundscapes and melodic techno from organic tribal rhythms, using analogue synthesizers, didgeridoo, percussion, hang drum, beatboxing and looping technology. With no computers, backing tracks or pre-recorded material, his performances are raw, immersive and unmistakably human.
