Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

At Midnight Mango, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity, fairness, and ethical conduct throughout all areas of our work. As a responsible and forward-thinking music booking agency, we take a firm stance against modern slavery and human trafficking in all forms. We are fully committed to ensuring that slavery, forced labour, and human trafficking have no place within our operations or the wider live music industry in which we operate.

Our Commitment

We recognise that while the music industry may not always be seen as a high-risk sector, exploitation can occur in many forms, including in the treatment of artists, freelance workers, and promoters.

This statement outlines the steps we take to ensure that our internal practices, as well as the activities of the artists we represent, the promoters and venues we work with align with our core values and commitment to human rights.

The principles of this policy apply to everyone working for or on behalf of Midnight Mango.

We operate a zero-tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery, forced labour, or human trafficking. We are committed to fair and ethical working conditions for all, and we expect the same of our artists and clients.

Awareness and Action

We provide guidance and training to our staff to ensure they understand what modern slavery looks like, how it can manifest in the live music sector, and what actions to take if concerns arise. This includes awareness of exploitative contracts, coercive practices, and unsafe working environments.

Any concerns raised — whether internally or through our external relationships — will be taken seriously. We are committed to taking swift and appropriate action, including reporting to the relevant authorities where necessary.

We encourage open communication and transparency across all aspects of our business, ensuring that everyone feels safe and supported in raising concerns.

Our Legal and Ethical Responsibilities

In line with the Modern Slavery Act 2015, we understand our responsibility to identify and prevent modern slavery and human trafficking.

If any instance of modern slavery or related exploitation is identified in connection with our work, Midnight Mango will act immediately — reporting to the appropriate authorities and working alongside them to resolve the matter effectively.
