Ukulele Death Squad

Since their 2017 inception, the award winning and critically acclaimed folk band Ukulele Death Squad have grown bigger and better, bringing a new sense of anarchy to the once undisturbed four-stringed instrument – The Ukulele.
Their original song writing, thumping rhythms, outrageous Ukulele & Sax solos and harmonic vocal stylings of the seven piece squad, has garnered attention from audience’s globally, selling out season after season and even winning The 2019 & 2022 People’s Choice SA Music Award – Best Folk Artist and The 2018 Overall Adelaide Fringe Best Music Award.

In the 6 years that they have been performing, The Squad have recorded, released and nationally toured their EP selling out every show. Additionally their presence has been celebrated performing at established festivals such as The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Adelaide Fringe, Caloundra Music Festival, Headlining Folkloria Music Festival, WOMADelaide, National Folk Festival to name a few.
