Year of the Dog

Smashing the festival, radio, and TV circuits alike, the brass-house-soul sound from Cardiff and Bristol are selling out gigs and rising fast across Europe.

Having built a reputation as one of the most unforgettable dance inducing live bands on the underground scene, the BBC Introducing group have blasted the biggest stages at festivals including Noz Stock, Kendal Calling, Cheltenham Jazz, Cardiff LGBTQ+ Pride and many more. The Dogs have spent the summer of 2023 touring on a European scale at festivals and live music venues finishing with the Rugby World Cup final in Paris.

The six-piece who formed at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in 2018 are also recognised for their star appearance as Swing Band in Netflix’s smash hit series, Sex Education, performing single Run These Streets in series 1, ep 3.
